The Modular 3 utilises LiDAR (Light Detection & Ranging) to position the vehicle inside of the bay. The LiDAR sensors are fully integrated into the Modular 3. Modular National Cleaning is the first touch free carwash to use this technology for this purpose. We have gone with this technology because of the accuracy and the simplicity. AS Interface is one of the systems that make the Modular 3 so advanced. This system creates a network inside of the machine. This allows us to have all of our components talking to each other at the same time. This system is great because of the flexibility it allows the operator. The system is fully modular so replacement of parts is easy and fault identification can be conducted easily so there is less downtime.
